Slices Per Person Guidelines: Kids typically eat 2 slices, adults 3 slices, teenagers 4+ slices. A standard 14" pizza has 8 slices. These are averages - adjust based on your specific crowd. Athletic teenagers or very hungry adults might eat 5-6 slices each!
Other Food Factor: If serving substantial appetizers (wings, salads, breadsticks), reduce pizza by 25%. If it's pizza-only, keep the full amount. Dessert doesn't reduce pizza consumption much - people make room for it! Light snacks (chips, veggies) have minimal impact.
Event Duration Impact: Longer events (4+ hours) need slightly more pizza as people come back for seconds or late arrivals eat. For very long events like all-day parties, consider continuous cooking rather than making everything at once.
Always Prepare Extra: Make 10% more dough than calculated. It's better to have leftover dough (freeze it!) than run short. Pizza dough keeps 3 months frozen. Also, have backup frozen pizzas just in case - they won't be as good as fresh but better than running out completely.
